CLP Carbon Credits
CLP Carbon Credits
With growing emphasis on sustainability, governments and organisations are actively investing in different efficiency improvement initiatives to reduce their carbon emissions. Despite best efforts to improve resource efficiency, some stakeholders may still look for ways to cope with unavoidable emissions across their value chain. To accelerate their decarbonisation journey, CLP Carbon Credits serve as a tool to offset any inevitable emissions.
How does it work?
How does it work?
A carbon credit represents one metric ton of carbon emissions that has been reduced or removed from the atmosphere. CLP Carbon Credits are generated from renewable sources (like wind or solar) which avoid the carbon emissions that would have otherwise been emitted from fossil fuel sources (like coal or gas). A carbon credit can be used to compensate an emission.
