Dr. Gustavo S. Bohme, Renewable Energy Principal Manager, Group Projects & Operations of CLP, was invited to speak at the first World Energy Café Asia on 31 May 2023. Organised by the World Energy Council, the first World Energy Café Asia centred around the theme of “the role of energy storage for renewables in energy transition in Asia and Asia-Pacific”. He discussed the challenges and complexities in modelling green hybrid projects in response to the growing demand for 24/7 Carbon-Free Energy agreements.
During the panel discussion, Gustavo also elaborated on the inputs necessary for the modelling and the assumptions required when designing the energy infrastructure for 24/7 Carbon-Free Energy agreements.
